Grip covered with leather. Brass hilt. Pommel cap with a long tail. Single-branch guard, stamped “Sabatier” underneath, with shuttle-shaped langets and a faceted spherical quillon. Curved blade with a flat spine, false edge, and fullers, engraved with “VIVAT HUSSAR” and “RECTE FACIENDO NEMINEM TIMEAS” (“Act rightly and fear no one”).
Gilded and blued over the first third (restored). Leather-covered scabbard with two brass fittings.
